Leisure Services Department Recognized

Washington City's Leisure Services Department has received "Outstanding Department of the Year, Class II" throughout the state from the Utah Recreation & Parks Association. This award consists of city achievements which demonstrate the collective efforts of the department's staff, resources and programs. The department encourages and models excellence in the promotion and provision of parks &
recreation programs & facilities within the community. Lastly, they have received either a local, state or national awards/certification as a department.

Class I=Population (under 15,000)
Class II= Population (between 15,000-50,000)
Class III= Population (Over 50,000)

Members of Washington City's Leisure Services receive "Outstanding Department of the Year" honor.
