ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
Washington City is sponsoring a desert clean up event to repair some of the damage done by illegal dumping. The clean up will be on Friday May 25th and Saturday May 26th from 8am to noon.
The area we are working on is located at the end of Washington Fields road at approximately 5500 south.
The city is providing dumpsters and some equipment to help in cleaning up the large items. We are asking that volunteers bring their own gloves and a rake and/or shovel.
Come out for an hour or more and help us bring back some of the natural beauty destroyed by illegal dumpers.
